...to eat uncooked pasta or rice? The reason I ask is because my ferrets have a play pen (an unused litter box with their toys and uncooked pasta or rice in their cage 24/7) and sometimes they can get so rambuncious (i know spelling is wrong) that it flies out of the cage. I don't think the dogs have ever eaten it and I sweep once a day due to dog hair so the pasta or rice gets picked up then. I would appreciate any input.
Min - ferrets enjoy digging in dirt and tunnelling. By making a rice bin available, they can dig to their hearts content and "mom" doesn't have to worry about the dirt plugging up their little noses. If you use dirt, you have to make sure is "clean" dirt (filtered with no surprises). Sand is a big no-no, so is kitty sand (clay)
