Ok, I paid $400.00 for my Papillon, but I understood that he was not a show quality, and he was neutered ASAP. He is wonderful, but it is out of the norm for me to a pup out of the newspaper, yes from a byb, but I was grieving over the loss of my girl, and just need a fur baby to help with the grief. I did research into buying a pup from a rep breeder and they normally run around a $1000.00 or more. Why are you wanting a Papillion?
Here is a pic of him, as I said he's not show quality by anymeans, just an excellent pet:)
Yeah he is all legs:) and he can pack a punch when he slaps you with them. No there isn't any Itn. Greyhound in him, but as I said he is far from show quality, but he is neutered, so no worries. He tips the scale at 6 pounds. He is a fun little dog. My first Papillon.
I have 5 Papillons and paid $740 to $2000. Some my not agree but if you are looking for a pet. There are some wonderful pups out there for less money. They don't have to be show quality to be a wonderful pet. My first one does not have papers and she has been a wonderful Papillon. If you are looking for a well breed Papillon. You will pay alot more for the puppy. Just because a pup has a high price does not always mean its well breed. Check out the breeder and go see the pups and parents before choosing one if you can. I talked to the breeders alot and got to know them before I got my puppies. You want a breeder who is willing to help you choose and answer your questions wather than pushing you into buying one of thier puppies.
