"my chi is a deer headed chi. and what does patellas mean?"
Not to be mean, but that just shows you don't know enough to breed. A chi shouldn't be "deer headed." It's in the standard that they should have a well rounded "apple dome" skull. Patellae are knee caps. Luxating patella is when the knee cap slips out of place. It is a genetic problem. Probably what you heard about, the 3 legged problem.
I know what they standard is for them. I know that she should be a apple headed chi. but I love her just the way that she is. I wouldn't change her in any way. but I heard of Patellae before but I wan't sure of what exactly what it was.
I was stating that I knew that she was a deer headed chi.
I wasn't asking. but thanks for the info anyways.
