I havent been on in awhile, My husband was in ICU unit. We found out he needs a Liver Transplant and is also diabetic. It has been a really tough time!! I am very religious BUT... right now I am having a hard time!!!! Majorlover
I am so sorry to hear about your husband. My husband and I both have diabetes along with one of our schnauzers. Diabetes is nothing to fool around with. I do know prayer changes things and we will remember your husband and pray he is a good candidate and soon at the top of the list for a new liver. God bless.
majorlover, i was just thinking of you and wondering how you are, i wish it were better news you were coming to share. i really hope everything goes well with your husband. i will be thinking about him and your family. keep us updated. *hugs*
I dont think we have ever crossed paths in forum land but I am sorry to hear that you are going through this. I know how you feel and how hard it is at times to continue to have faith but you must not let this hardship stop you from believing. We are all here to be tested in one form or another and we just have to weather the bad times and always hope for the best. I hope that all works out fine in the end for you both, all the best of luck :)
I am new to this forum but when i read this i had to say that our thoughts are with you and your family.I also wanted to say that although this is a pet forum it amazes me the outreach and it gave me goose bumps, incredible all of our hearts and arms are reaching out to you and your family at this time.We sincerely hope that all goes well.Take care and God bless.
I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. My mother is a diabetic and my daddy had liver/colon cancer, it's a very difficult time you are going through. When my daddy was so sick I had a lot of questions w/my religion as well (why does something like this happen to such a sweet wonderful person),I think its only normal. Stay strong, and remember you arent alone. Best wishes and prayers to you and your family.
Again I want to thank everyone! Tomorrow at 6:30 we have to be at the hospital to drain the fluid off his stomach. Saturday is his birthday and monday we have to go back to the hospital for his EGD (where they put a scope down and check) I am trying so hard to think POSITIVE I guess to be honest I'm a little scared!
The animals are unbelievable!!!!! They all know something is different! My dogs will not leave his side and even the horses have done things they have never done before!
It is amazing to me how animals can sense things!!!! Animals are smart! I will keep you updated tomorrow.
