Hello all, I haven't been on is while... sorry busy. But I just wanted to let everyone know what my family and I have been up too recently. As some of you may know, I have talked before about my mother's battle with Ovarian Cancer. She has been cancer free for nearly 3 years now!!!. When she was diagnosed in our moments of despair my family and I decided we where going to everything in our power to fight against cancer. This is the second you my entire family is involved in the American Cancer Society's Relay for life. Its an amazing event that I encourage anyone who has the oportunity to attend. Before I will post my personl american Cancer Society web page. Check it out. If you can contribute in any way to the fight, its much much appreciated it. Thank you
I agree, Relay for Life is a great experience. I have attended a few in the past and just got info on the one in our area that will be held on June 8 and 9th. I have lost a father-in-law to cancer and I have a brother, a sister-in-law and an ex-sister-in-law who are survivors. My brother has been cancer free now for almost 10yrs. He had cancer of the larynx and has to talk with a machine but that is ok, he is here with us and we carry on laughing, crying and talking and that is great! Both my sister-in-law and ex sister-in-law have had breast cancer in the last year and so far so good, one is done with her treatments for now and the other is about half way thru and hopefully all will be good. Good luck to you and your family.
Cody's mom, I wish you and your family all the best. Have fun at your relay. Riley. that sounds great! I wante to bring Buster, but I am not sure if they allow dogs on the track. I will have to look into that.
