Here are the 5.5wk-6 wk pictures of my pom litter. Unfortunely the darker male developed a bit of hypogylcemia this past week, we've been supplementing him and giving him alone time with mom. I think he was having a competition problem since his siblings hit a growth spurt and are now just over a pound while he fell behind at still only 11 ounces :( Hes doing well now though, hopefully he will put on weight asap!
If anybody that knows poms colors has input on what the little female is go ahead and throw it out there. I've tried to get as many educated opinions as i can and its split between a Beaver and Tan or a Chocolate Sable. I can't find many comparison pictures of either color :(
Is it just the last pic or is the small male a bit brindle? They are adourable! I really can't say what she is was trying to look into it, I found this sight with lots of exotic pom colors, I'll PM the site to you since you know the breed better then I do maybe you can see and compare as well.
If you think dogs can't count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them.
Thank you for the comments and for those that pm'ed some sites to me. I'm going to go check them out now and see if i can compare her to any of the poms there. I feel so silly not being able to say exactly what she is by now.
Lovebug... Your babies are sooooooo pretty. :) The boys have such beautiful heavy sabling and thick coats. They are going to be quite handsome the older they get. Your stunning chocolate sable girl looks to have the most outgoing personality. She has surely captured my heart. Thanks for shareing.
Life isn't like a box of chocolates . . it's more like a jar of jalapenos.
She is incredibly spunky. She squeals and squeaks from their pen when i walk in the room and she'll try to eat your entire finger if you give it to her. The little guy(darker male) his personality has not blossomed so much yet being a bit sick and all. He will sit in the plam of your hand quiet as a mouse for the longest time, i don't think hes ever made a sound yet but he sure loooooves his nutrical. And the big guy loves belly rubs, we found that out when his new family came to visit him the day they turned 6 wks. He just rolled right over for the husband and got his tiny belly rubbed for the longest time. They're adorable and i'm so happy to have finally had my first litter. I can't imagine my life anymore without raising poms! I'm going to be a cripply old lady someday that has a pack of poms that bring me my slippers and such :)
