the title explains it all. tried calling animal control, was put on hold for hours, we hear it pit pattering about. i wonder how it got in there, it's surrounded by the garage and back porch. any ideas on what to do?
Hey Sienna, long time no see. With the exception of the Squirrel problem, glad to see that you are still around. Welcome back. I am with Riley. Get the trap and you can catch him and free him back outside with no harm to you or the menacing Squirrel.
If you are a dog and your owner suggests that you wear a sweater, suggest that he wear a tail.
I knew someone who actually got pack rats in there attic. They asked to borrow the JRT's. It is not uncommon for a squirrel to move in, but you need to act fast because they can do lots of damage. If the humane society will not lend a trap, some vets have them to catch ferral cats. Just keep calling until you find one.

Are you sure its inside? I know we have so many squirrels its unreal. They jump from the trees onto the roof of the house and run and it sounds just like they are in the attic. Don't know what your answer is but if it is inside hope you can get someone to help. Good luck.
My question would be..are you sure it's a squirrel? Mice are incredibly loud. The first time we heard them we thought it either a squirrel or a rat and come to find out it was mice. It's amazing how loud they can be.
