I think they are the cutest things. I almost got into breeding them until I noticed all the health issues. I might own one someday. They are to cute, and all the ones I have met have the greatest personalities.
I am sure she meant Cavalier. This is a pet foum, not a grammar class. We do not all have perfect spelling and some of the members here are young. Lets not forget that.
Cavaliers are very sweet dogs, but this is a breed that suffers from heart issues, eye problems, hip dysplasia, and Patellar Luxation. Finding a good breeder that health tests is really important, particularly with this breed. Good luck.
No back up here. I just can understand spelling issues. I have been known to make a boo boo or two now and then myself. Some words just get past me, like shih tzu. I'll be dammed if i dont have to look up the spelling of that breed every single time. And some of the breeds are a real test, like Affenpinscher, Kuvasz, etc.( All of whoms spelling i had to look up) Now the Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen ? Forget it !
If you are a dog and your owner suggests that you wear a sweater, suggest that he wear a tail.
I saw a cavalier pup at the dog park on Saturday. They are beautiful dogs!
I agree about the health issues, though. I met somebody that owned one and they mentioned several health problems with the breed. I think theirs had a digestive system problem. If you go to a dog show and speak with the breeders and owners, they should be able to point you to a good bloodline.
