It's definitely the number of times you post. I forget what the count is for new to junior and then from junior to full but I think I am waiting for 500 to get to senior member. But that is how some of the "trolls" pass out the members that have been here longer. They post and post all kinds of junk and then they look like real members when they really have nothing to say.
It is not only a numbers thing but a time thing. Look at the 2nd person that made a post on this. They joined 6/20 but have 32 posts and still new... the op joined 4/13 and just hit 28 post and achieved Jr status today.
I am not sure how the system works??? Your guess is as good as mine. Quite frankly it doesn't matter what your status is!! Just because someone is a senior member or a full member doesn't mean they know more than someone else!!
I also noticed a time thing going on too.. back when blessed jerry was with us, he surpassed me in # of posts quickly, but joined after me, i think? So i went to junior member while he remained new. I think that was the right example. I could never find a exact rule for when advancing, but Jr. member seems to be 50 posts and/or over a month on the site, full member at 100 post, senior at 500 posts. thats my guess anyways.
No Lauren296, I didn't mean that applied to you. The people we consider to be trolls say absolutlely nothing at all. They can say a whole sentence in nothing but abbreviated "texting" language which nobody understands and full of the smilies. They post things just to make people mad, add pointless comments like "I don't know" on a thread, just to see themselves in print, stuff like that. The people the others referred to are just a few recent examples of people like that. I did not in any way mean that applied to you. You seem to have more to add than that.
