Is it normal for bitch to go in heat 4-6 months after a litter

my three year old boxer just had a litter of puppies the day before valentines day and is in heat again. I have never had a female boxer and was wondering if this is normal or if this is to soon? She has already had two litters and was also wondering how many litters is to many

Please have her spayed. If you don't know the answer to this question you have no business breeding dogs in the first place.

HAVE HER SPAYED!!!!! If you don't know, then don't breed. At the rate she is going with litters, you could possibly going to kill her.

It is normal. you have to consider that when your boxer got pregnant. she was pregnant for about 2 months. you nurse the pups for 2 more months. thats 4 months right there. Usually from 2 to 4 months after that they go into heat again. but you should always skip a heat inbetween litters. it is not good on the mom to have litter after litter.

wow, my boxer goes into heat once a year. She has had two litters to.

Actually, Imatxter, you have that backwards....you should learn what you are doing BEFORE you try. Dogs are not experiments to see "what happens."

And anyway, this thread is 2 years old. OP is long gone by now (as you are, I suspect)
