When I signed on to this site I saw ads for "AKC Boston Terrier" puppies for sale - at SIX WEEKS OLD. I think not. No real breeder would let their puppies go at 6 weeks. Sorry. These are puppy mills or ignorant backyard breeders. If they're willing to let 6 week old puppies go, you can bet your bottom $800 dollars that they did not do any family tree checks, or do vet checks for possible physical problems. The parents probably have not been checked out at shows, either. Don't do it!
Did the ad say the were ready to at 6 weeks? or did they just happen to be advertising them at 6 weeks but not letting them go until 8 weeks or better.
The post wasnt real clear. I many times have puppies spoken for before the litter is ever conceived and any that I don't keep my self and don't fit the needs of the waiting list people I will advertise at a young age but NEVER let them actually leave until 8 weeks or older.
Its one thing to advertise them that young its another to actually allow them to go to new homes.
