Why don't we get away from the name calling and get back to the original question -- "What should I do?" Well, you have a number of people suggesting that you put the cat down due to his ongoing health issues. Have you considered that as an option? Why or why not?

yes i've considered putting him down. but he seems happy and doesnt appear to be in any pain. and i dont want to end a life if i dont have to.

Well, if you think he's "happy" then you keep doing what you've been doing. I have to admit that I'm kind of confused as to why you started this post ("What should I do?"), because it doesn't seem like you want anyone to tell you what to do. Did you mean to say, "Is anyone going through the same thing as me?" Because there are plenty of people who can relate to medical issues.

BTW -- Making the choice to put an animal down is a grave responsibility. Make sure that you are not prolonging your pet's suffering simply because you don't want to be the person who makes the tough decision.
