Does anyone have any advice on keeping your grass alive when your pet is urinating on the grass? I have 1 year old female dotson and is killing our new lawn we just planted. I have been giving her GrassSaver tablets, for about the last two weeks but maybe it has not been long enough. Help!
I don't know it might take longer. I know my neighbor across the street said that does work on his dog. So him and or his wife are out there everytime there dog pees and either uses the garden hose to water it down or they have a bottle like a Gatorade bottle to dump on it. That seems to work for their lawn. I would think it was a pain in the behind, but if you like your grass that much then. Otherwise make the dog a spot with sand or dirt and train it to go in that area and not on your grass. My uncle did that with his dog. She was six years old when they got her. So if he can teach a six year old to only go in a certain spot you should be able to teach you dog too. Good luck
we use the lawn savers from petsmart, it seems to work. it goes by weight though, maybe you were not giving enough tabs? we've never had dead grass with them. you may have to try a different brand, that may help.
