Aisha loves sitting on the front porch when she is outside and not in. Her spot is on a patio chair. I went to the door to see how she was doing and she was not there! I ran out the back.....NO AISHA! I ran back to the front.....NO AISHA! I ran inside.....NO AISHA! I grabbed my car keys and started a frantic search of the neighbourhood NO AISHA! I called all the local shelters in our area and surrounding areas NO AISHA! After over an hour of looking, my gas starting running out so I headed home for my purse and money. I ran in and on my way back out I opened the garage and there WAS AISHA!!!!!! My mom went out and she must of snuck in the garage !!!!!!! Of course all this time no one was helping me look. The kids are sitting on the couch and DH (figure out the D) is sitting at the computer waiting for football to start! (sitting by the phone just in case!!!!) (YEAH RIGHT!) So how is everyone else's sunday going?
Thanks! Yes I was freaked out. I mean i was still in my p.j's and slippers, my throat is killing me from the yelling and my ears have now started to defrost from the fact that it is cold out and all windows were down. My husband and kids all had places to go today. I told everyone that since they were all too lazy to help me look, then they are too lazy to go out to watch the game and the kids are too lazy to go to a birthday party today. lol
aisha aren't husbands wonderful. when i came home this morning dh was on the porch. i had scout, breakfast, coffee and 2 bags of other stuff to carry in. do ya think he would've noticed and helped without me having to ask ? i ask ant to grab the milk and all of a sudden he is a weakling. too much.
Scout, do you think that this is grounds for divorce. I yelled and freaked at all three of them! When I came to get my purse they were all sitting!!!!!!! They are all grounded until further notice including DH (again decode 'D") I know what you mean I could go grocery shopping and the only one who seems eager to help is Aisha! If she was gone I don't know what I would of done. I would still be out looking for sure and probably stopping every car leaving the country by now. When I called one animal control they asked what name she goes by. So I said Aisha and "NO" lol. at least my humour did not leave me.
i have ant trained with the grocery shopping. he knows he has to help carry in the bags. but when i am alone, you would be amazed at how many bags i can carry at once just to avoid having to make too many trips out to the car. at last count i literally had 13 bags at once.
Yup! God forbid I have to make more then a couple of trips. I can carry that many bags, open the door, unlock it and have my arms being pulled out of their sockets while Aisha is jumping all over me lol But more then two trips! NO WAY!
I know this sounds hard to believe, but I lost Oscar once. I was scared to death and crying. I felt awful I was calling my mom at work crying and she was confused on how I could loose a 150 pound dog. Turns out he had gotten into our storage building and he had shut the door. And with the grocery thing around here, Brad does nothing. I go to the store, I unload from the car, and I put everything up. All he does is sit there and watch football. Sundays are my grocery shopping day. So i have already been through that today.
PaigeBeverly: It would be hard to lose her. Actually I thought someone already took her, she is so goofy that she would of been bouncing all over the place. I found it really strange that I did not find her right away. I was in tears too, I really did think I would never see her again. :(
omg Aisha, I thought when I saw that topic that Aisha had run away or been kidnapped (dognapped)!!! I am glad she was only in the garage. Ya know, when you lock her in there for being bad you really should remember to let her back out =D lol jk.
omg i was just about to let Nala outside to pee i was holding her by her collar and didn't notice the 2 gates were open so i let Nala go and when i realized that they were open i sort of pounced on her (above her, no i didn;t squash her) and took her inside.
I know how ya feel, 2 Sunday's ago I got a call from DH saying BOTH my dogs were missing! I had a client sitting in my chair with color on my head, there was nothing I could do. I freaked, my client was freaking and DH wasnt the least bit worked up over it. He did send the kids out looking though. The kids are very good about looking for them if they get loose. DH, on the other hand, is not so good at looking for them. He does help around the house without asking but refuses to chase dogs. P.S. Dont bother decoding the "D". I am being nice today since he bought and installed a new backdoor for me. (anniversary/birthday present) LOL
OMG Aisha, what a scare. I'm glad you found her, no thanks to the guys!! My anniversary is Oct.19, Tuesday. My DH will be out of town on business, so I guess Toby and I will celebrate together. We are going to get a bowl of milk bones and some candles and have dinner together. LOL We celebrated this weekend--I actually got flowers, some PJ's and get this Aisha, more panties.!!!!!!! Toby has already approved them!!!!!!!!!
