I had one when I was growing up. The little thing loved me and hated everyone else. He'd sneak into my sister's bedroom and bite her on the neck, she looked like she'd been hit by a vampire. He was neutered before we got him but he still stank, and we never could 'litter box' train him. He'd leave presents in various corners of the house. I'll never get another heh.
lol minniyar! I had a ferret for 10 years and I thought he was the neatest pet ever. He always used his litter box, never had accidents, was trained to 'go potty' before I would let him out of his cage, he followed me everywhere and liked to ride on my shoulder. He didn't really have an odor because he was de-scented and I shampooed him once a week with a special ferret shampoo. He loved to steal keys and did this prance thing when he wanted me to play with him. He bit when he was a baby, but that's the breeders fault. They let the ferrets go too early and have to be taught not to bite. I used to put him on his ferret leash and bring him to the park or let him run around the yard. He was so much fun. And so easy to take care of. Change his litter, fresh water and food everyday and that was it.
i have never had a good experience with a ferret. we had some abandoned at work one time and anytime you let them out of their cage they would chase you around the room like they wanted to kill you. then i petsat for one who i was told was extremely friendly. well i let it out of the cage and it ran around the room playing and then jumped on the couch and ran up the back of my shirt and bit me in the neck. another family i petsat for had 4 of them. they asked me to let them out into the pool table room for a while while i was there and i could watch tv while they got some exercise. so i did, and 1/2 hour later i went to put them away and they were gone !! i searched the entire room. it was sealed off so i had no idea where they could have gone except up into the pool table. well, that would have been better then what they did do. they ate thru the wall into the next room !! so i would never own one of these creatures. a girl who works in the kennel where i work has 3 and hers aren't biters but she said they REALLY need to be taught not to bite.
