Floyd's head seems to have not grown at the same rate as his body. He is 12 months now and seemed to grow REALLY quickly but now it seems his body has slowed down but his head 'still' hasn't caught up. Now I call him pinhead! Is this normal?
Have a look....www.dogster.com/?41095.
Will his head get bigger/fill out? At what age?

boxer babe can you copy and paste the link ?? I am unsure how to find the dogster pics with just numbers ??
Anyway without seeing your Dal's head My missy's head is not all that big . I think dalmations don't have large sculls they are pretty fine slim lined heads. Missy is a female but I have a freind who has a male and his head isn't that large ??? Jubilee
What fun pics you got of him !!! he is adorable . No honestly he looks great!! Dal's have a narrow head unlike say a lab who is a little broader. They are finer in the scull by the eyes kinda hard to explain. and their Nose is thin. My friend dal is a male and he looked like a puppy for a long time. We have had missy so long don't even remember her as a puppy LOL
I am really not sure what I am gonna do when she passes away which I am trying to get my self acustom to . she has just always been there and is with me all day when I work.
Floyd has the circles around the eyes he is cute...... missy has the black ears I will try and find a pic here. The spots being so random give each dalmation there own unique look. Jubilee
boxer babe, i think he is very handsome, and he looks fine to me. How have you been?? Is it warm in Australia?? We had freezing rain and light snow here in Toronto. Wanna go chat for a very little while
Well hope this works here is a pic of missy last winter . she looks a little thin on this one??? LOL she isn't a big camera dog ... it scares her and she wants to slink away I don't know what she thinks I am doing to her. I tried using her for Kennel displaying Pics for work and she would have a fit and run hehe So alot of them I got a blur with her running I caught this one outside. She wasn't feelin the best last winter and I was worried I was loosing her. but she she is up to her spunky self again lately.
Floyd looks like a perfectly lovely dalmation to me! I laughed when I read your post though because when I got my Boston Popeye I wasn't sure if he would ever grow into his head, he looked like one of those stuffed animals called TheDogs that have a huge head with like legs sticking out from them! He finally grew into that monster of a head though!
Now I feel mean and everyone knows I call him pinhead. But he is a cute pinhead!
No but seriously, there are a few photos that make his head look quite small (but there's no way those are going on Dogster)...and a few people have mentioned that he still needs to grow into his head...that is why I mentioned it.
We aren't bothered at all though if it stays the same.
