Hi I had posted an ad a few days ago I was going to get my new puppy bentley. Well the people sent me the wrong puppy. http://www.dogster.com/?144773 you can go to that link and see for yourself. the first two pictures are of the puppy I thought I was going to recieve the puppy they had on their ad the third picture is the puppy i recieved the one with the red circle around it. We are working things out now we are going to return the puppy we recieved I mean its a cute puppy to but not the one we paid for. The lady is saying that its the same dog but can anyone else say that is the same dog? Well thats my horror story for anyone who is interested. thanks -Jessica
it does not look like the same pup to me unless poms get darker as they get older. but i dont think they do to that degree. just for my own curiosity.....why return the dog you received ? did you meet the rogignal puppy and pick out a psecific one for temperament reasons or looks ?
Well we are going to return it because we paid a lot of money for the puppy and recieved the wrong one. We are trying to work things out with the lady but she isn't getting back to us. Its also I just had my heart set on the other puppy and was very sad when I didn't recieve the puppy I had my heart set on. We are willing to get the other dog and work things out but she isn't even answering our calls or emails.
in the pic on the bottom the pup does look redder, but the pic is darker. look at the carpet in the pics. the first two the carpet is real light and the last it is real dark. that will make a HUGE difference in the color of your pup also. and even if it is a different pup they are both equally cute !
thats nice pyrmom that you did that ! geezzz.......what i,m saying is even if it is not the same pup. what is wrong with the one she got. they look pretty much alike to me and just as cute as each other !
Dusty, I had made the same statement about the one she received being equally as cute. However, she paid for one dog and got another. Sort of like paying for a Chevy and getting a Dodge, nothing to say one is better than the other, just not what you orderd.

yeah i agree it is wrong not to get what you pay for, but was this puppy shipped ?does it have to go through being shipped again? its really sad for the puppy ! was there a price difference on the puppies? i just feel bad the people can screw up and the pup has to pay the price !
She said in her post.. it's not what she paid for. Cute or not. She has a right to have the pup she paid for. If someone shipped me a different pup than the one I got, not only would I be heartbroken, but I would be worried.. if the breeder lied about the pup.. did she lie about the parents too? What health issues would this one have? What size would it grow to be? How is it's temperament?
During the time she saw the last pup she may have seen the parents and can get a general idea of all these things through contact with the breeder..not to mention the fact that picture after picture brings you a little bond with the pup you haven't even met. This dog here is like a total stranger, cute one.. but stranger to her.
That's clearly not the same dog, you can see easily by the paws. It's a shame people do this to others.
you have always had some rude remarks about whatever i post. but who cares. ALL i am saying is that there is always a risk when you have to buy from someone that you dont know .unless you actually go meet the breeder and see the pups personally you are at some kind of risk. period. yes she has a right to the puppy she paid for, and that is something she will have to work out with the breeder, but i feel sorry for the puppy that is getting passed around in the meantime !
Shig I have to agree with most everything you said. I have never ordered a puppy without meeting it but I can totally see how you could get attached to a specific pup. What must make the situation worse is that the breeder will not contact you back and I can imagine the doubts you must be having about this person who can not keep their puppies strait and could be so irrisponsible as to send the wrong dog.
I think the whole situation is horrible, the poor little pup you have now is in no way at fault and he is the one who will have to suffer the trauma of being sent back and forth. If you never hear from this breeder again or for some reason or another you end up with this puppy for good, though it may be of little concelation, he is VERY cute and I am sure he will make a lovely little companion and you will love him as much as you would have loved the other (who knows, maybe this little guy was meant to be yours) I hope that everything works out for the best :)
I didn't see anything wrong or rude with Shig's post. I do believe that if I paid for one dog and got another, I would really question the breeder. I agree with Shig on her points. I agree with you as well, Dusty, that the pup is to be shipped again. Hopefully, all is well when it comes to the health of both pups. Good luck to you, Jess!
We have offered to keep this puppy if they give us some of the money back for sending us the wrong puppy. I mean it is a cute puppy but like I said before I had my heart set on the other one. We are trying to work things out but the people still haven't got in contact with us I mean they have all of our cell phone numbers and house number and our e-mail address but nothing. I hope everything works out I mean I don't want to put the puppy through the stress of being shipped but if they lady doesn't want to work with us then we will have to send it back. Well thanks for the support and input from all of you. -Jessi
I had the sane thing happen tpo me when i bought my boston off here. When I sent her an email about it she said "Oh you weren't talking about the dogs left" I'm like why the HE@@ would i choose from the dogs left when i'm viewing a pictures? she then proceeded to tell me that maybe they were wrong about choseing me as a buyer and trhey feared for the pup. Im like you sending me the wrong dog has NOTHING tro do with rather or not I"m a good provider ! I love him just the same.
AlthoughI need to contact her again cause he was just diagnosed with a HEREDATARY CONDITION THAT THEY FAILED TO INFORM ME RAN IN THE FAMILY. Now my baby boy won't live out a full 10 to 18 years. more like possibly 3 to 5!
I don;t think I can't stand loseing another member of our family. I just love them so
its amazing how well these people can keep in touch when someones interested in one of their puppies. but after the mess you over they are nowhere to be found ! have someone you know email them and inquire about a puppy and see how fast they reply ! who knows what they are trying to pull ,but more than likely she has already sold your pup to someone else. she needs to get ahold of you and work something out in your favor as YOU are the one with the loss. i know someone that bought a fawn frenchie and when they picked him up at the airport ,it was ablack and white pied ! now that is a big difference ! three months later they still had no response from the breeder. hopefully she will contact you soon and you can get the problem resolved .good luck and i hope things work out for you.
Thank you Cecile. Dusty, that post wasnt directed at you at all, or anyone in general. So get over it. It was my thoughts on the event. I agree with you on the shipping deal in fact.. it is crappy for the pup. But I was simply stating the fact. If I paid for a pup and was told this is my dog, I wouldn't care how cute the other one is. she paid for THAT DOG. So that's what she wants. And she has every right to that puppy, though it's not looking good for getting the pup unfortunetely.
