after reading that, I'm beginning to believe that those two ppl that were arrested, where posing as PETA members. I'll bet they went to the shelters picked up the dogs and gave them up to labs and such.
O my God, that is horrific. I don't understand people at all, how could someone be so heartless? I don't get it though, I went onto that petakillsanimals.com site, why would they kill animals? They just use their money for other things and put the animals to sleep? I must be really naive because I don't see how anyone could do such a thing, especially when they profess to be animals lovers and protectors. That makes me so sad.
It would seem you all missed the sub heading. NOT FOR THE WEAK. It also seems you know very little about the world you live live in. Does PETA kill abandoned pets. Well the evidence certainly points in that direction. Do they do more than you you to expose unneccesary vivesection (which is any) and improve farm standards and cruelty awareness? Ah yes. Do you eat organic or even partake in a semi vegetarian diet? If not delete yourself from having any standpoint on this subject. If you don't actually partake in these things shut up, until you do. Last thing. I'm not an activist. Peace is everything and so should be in all aspects of one's life. But life is a work in progress. I have serious problems with people making money from breading. These people ARE the problem in this article. Look at the roots. Be brave be honest. Then tell me my view is too radical. Your condemnation of PETA is too conclusive. There is a broader picture. Visit the PETA site and ask yourself "Is PETA too radical?" Often there's no time to waste. Animals suffer exquisitely daily. Integrity.
I am truly glad that they found the dogs and stopped them from hurting any more animals. And I am glad that the dogs did get a proper burial. And I truly pray that they humainly euthanized them but I know that is not the case most generally. But as for the one poster up above. No I am not a vegitarian and no I am not even partial to it. I am a meat eater and proud of it. It is totaly wrong for any organization to use animals to get money and such then murder the animal. "The two were picking up animals to be brought back to PETA headquarters for euthanization, PETA president Ingrid Newkirk said Thursday." I'm sorry but I always thought PETA was there to help animals not kill then. There are plenty of wonderful loving homes those dogs could have gone to especially the puppies they found. It takes any extremely sick individual to do something as horrific as this. I don't care where my food comes from but I will not and can not ever support anything that is a murdering oraganization. I'm sorry but this makes me sick and hurts as I am just about to adopt my 3rd baby into my home from the local pound, lol I go pick her up tomorrow. I'm so excited and just can't hardly wait. So please don't just post once and defend something as aweful as this. Those poor furkids, may they rest in peace with god himself.
"I have serious problems with people making money from breading."
Well that shouldn't affect any of us here, as I don't remember anyone confessing to working in a bakery!
It is truly a shame about the PETA story though. I don't trust any organization who's leader is in the top FBI Most Wanted List and in hiding. All that proves is aggression, not logical, vigilante, type of efforts. Truth be told, that never gets anything done and instead of gathering people behind the efforts, it causes people to think poorly. Peace is acheieved through education and non violent actions. Not through shock value, illegal actions and having to hide from things you've done.
