To be perfectly honest with you, I doubt you will get much of a reply on this. Posting your personal information (real name, e-mail address, etc...) on a (VERY) public forum is NOT the safest thing to do.
On that note, I am Cathy, Cat to my friends and family.
Sorry but just all me Rebel. i learned a hard lesson on posting personal info online. Even among friends. I am a member of one site have been for 1 1/2 half yrs. Posted just on little picture. Well someone got mad and at that group and posted people's picture all over the intenet. So I will no longer give personal info out. So just call me Rebel or Reb.
While its nice to know peoples names and create a feeling of community it really is not a good idea to give out your name on any forum, or even your location. Someone with your first name, what breed you have, and area or state can track you down, whether thru breed clubs, newspapers, or personal websites. There are so many crazies out there, be careful, for every pair of friendly eyes out there may be a thousand hostile ones.

i agree that there are some loose cannons out there. but if someone wants to spend the time and money to track me down and show up at my doorstep, they better have good intentions for being here. good intentions will get them a hot cup of coffee and some fresh baked cookies. bad intentions, will get them an angry gsd, a very large hubby i lovingly refer to as "bubba" and a very large and very heavy cast iron skillet !
I'm not really refering to someone showing up at your house, I'm talking about other forms of harassment, stalking, having the AC called on you for no reason, IRS etc. There's a lot of harm someone can do without ever meeting you these days.
