we have 2 toy poodles and were fine now...i wanted to get another one but my husband is joining the military and we all know what military means...moving around..and we both think 2 is enough for traveling..esp. we asked how much the dog fare is..for international...and its not no dimes and nickels.
We have two....a 9 month old Bichon Frise and a 6 month old Lhasa Apso. I don;t know if we'll ever add a third....my son would like a Pug or a Pomeranian but with the lifestyle we're leading right now bringing three with us would be difficult. We did have three goldens in the past and I think the toughest parts about that were when they decided to play in the house, and when they all wanted to lie on the floor in the same room--whichever room we were in and right in the MIDDLE of it! LOL. making dinner could be difficult with three of them lying in the middle of the kitchen!
I have a 5 year old male german shepherd. He demands so much of my attention that it's like having a kid. 1 is enough for me. That way I can always spend quality one on one time with him and not have to worry about which dog is my 'favourite'!
We have two dogs. One is a 1-1/2 year old female Miniature Pinscher and the second is a 10 month old male Miniature Pinscher. We got the second to keep the first one company and give each other canine companionship and more exercise. They love to chase each other around.
My husband that did not want a second dog now talks about wanting a puppy. Maybe some day. But definitely not now. Ours are so young and a handful.
