Jake sleeps on the floor on his bed (he's waaay too big to sleep with us) I made him a new bed. I took an old matress pad, a downcomforter pad -yeah I know he has a better bed than most people! Then I took a sheet and made sort of a big pillowcase with velcro to hold it closed. I'm very proud :-) and he has a dog bed in the other room that he sleeps on too. He's a greyhound so he sleep a lot, hahaha.
All sleep inside, either in my house, my Mom's house, or my sister's house. Older dogs have the run of the house and sleep where they want. Younger dogs sleep in a crate until housebroken. Crates are in our bedrooms so we can hear them when they need a potty break at 4 AM.
I actually have a queen size bed entirely because I needed enough room for me in the bed. I usually have at least 3-4 on the bed with me (good thing Shelties are smaller dogss :). And my couch is always full. :) Then I have several dog beds that I scatter throughout the house in their favorite spots.
muffin likes to move around at night. she will start out on the couch downstairs during the day, then on to her bed in my room, then on to my bed and then on to my mothers, then she comes back to bed with me when my mom gets up cause i sleep in late. what a hard life....
At night, Bailey sleeps in her crate which is in our den. During the day she'll sleep on my Ikea chair or on her poofy dog bed. If you're sitting on the couch with your feet on the floor, she'll plop herself down on your feet and sleep there!
my dogs sleep in the crates at night i once let them sleep where ever...when i woke up i was cleaning the house(picking up trash they tore up..) four like 6 hrsthey do bads things so they sleep in the crate w/ their blankets and one pillow...
We have two slumber balls in our bedroom and they both start there. Jackson will get up and do his business on the wee pad and then jump in bed and spend the rest of the night there. Georgie sometimes stays in the slumber ball all night and sometimes she will get up in the middle of the night and go downstairs where we have two more slumber balls.
Buddy sleeps on the couch all night but in the morning, when we just start waking up he wants to get in bed with us for cuddle time. Both in the house and on the boat he needs a lift up to bed. It's kind of a nice little ritual.
Max goes from his bed to the recliner then to the couch and back to the recliner. The girls sleep in their beds in our bedroom next to us. When 10:00 comes they want their beds carried into our room. Max will get up and go over to my husband and stare at him until he gets up and gives him the recliner. Guess we are going to have to buy us each new recliners and let him have that one.
I love it!! Most everyone has their babies with them at night, in the bed.....me too!! Isn't that what it's all about...love, love, love......I must admit tho as another post said...Chica allows US to share the bed with her!!
All of mine sleep any where. However my maltese and basset love it outside so whenever it's bed time they'll stand by the door all ready to go out and they'll sleep next to eachother and cuddle on the porch. My other three mostly sleep inside, my lab loves my bed, he'll literally put his paws up on my bed and wag his little tail until I tell him it's okay, then he'll jump up. Because when he was a baby he peed in my bed, and he knew he was bad. He's such a fast learner...
Cody sleeps on our bed for a while, then he moves to the hall, then to the living/dining room or kitchen then into his cage for the night. Basically he sleeps where ever he wants but he is in the cage from midnight till 6:30AM.
it should be a question of where do I sleep. lol harley, our gsd, sleeps at the foot of the bed. phatboy the cat sleeps on my pillow, and all three frenchies sprawl out all over the bed. i, " GET in , where i FIT in !
