Okay, I am planning on opening a dog daycare in my area. I have got the business plan almost completed, and am getting ready to get the financing part done.
However, I am stuck on a name for the place. I had a name that I was in love with, but a little research revealed that another company had the same name, and had their license suspended. While it could have been for a number of reasons, its best not to take my chances with opening with a bad reputation. I know have a different name that I haven't found anything bad on, but I'm not in love with it.
Someone else posted a couple weeks back looking for a name for a training place and you all came up with some great ideas. So, I thought I'd try too. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
Heather, need more info if you want some help, like where do you live? country or city. What type of dogs do you have again? sorry I forgot, and what are your pups names? I have a few but don't know if it's what you want.

Wow! You guys are really creative. I was gonna go with The Dog Shack, but I really didn't like it. Now I have a long list to choose from. All your ideas are great. I'll start researching which names are available, and let you know what I decide upon.
I was gonna be the first and only dog daycare here, but someone beat me to it, and opened one, and its called Waggin Tails Day Camp. But, to toot my own horn, I will do much better because I will be in a much better location.
There is also a place in Laguna called The Dog Ranch Bed and Biscuit. I love the Bed n' Biscuit and hope it goes with whatever I choose. Thanks everyone!!!
I haven't set a price yet (financials are my weak spot so I'm saving that for my brother to do last). But, I am going to go check out the other dog day care that just opened, and probably price slightly above them. I'd imagine it would be around $20-25 per day. I'll do packages like 10 visits for $xx and unlimited monthly pass for $xx. And yes, I would also offer overnights, and eventually I'd like to have a full service grooming salon and doggie boutique. I'm also thinking of doing a cattery, not because I just LOVE cats (cuz I don't), but more as a convenience to my doggie patrons who also have cats.
I just want to hurry up and get started so I can paint the walls.
