That is awful he left behind a family, friends and a zoo that is terrible he was such a great man and he accomplished so many things in his life. I also loved his show he took in so many injured and sick animals. His family must be so sad. I mean it must be so hard for the kids to understand that there father is dead. =(

I Just saw that when I went to Yahoo to check my email (its on the homepage) and I was so sad to hear that! He was so young......and his kids, they are just 3 and 8......I feel terrible for his family...This was a real shocker.
My sons were just watching his movie last night. I'll light an incense for him tonight. Atleast he died while doing what he loved. No long drawn out illness or suffering. Maybe his legacy to help wild animals will be carried out by some of his devoted fans.
I was so upset to hear. My kids and I love to watch his shows. We have his movie, some dvds of his show, and the Wiggly Safari dvd. My kids were upset that he won't be doing anymore shows. I also dreamed of going to see his zoo and Agro.I wish the beat for his kids and hope the zoo keeps doing as well without him.He will be greatly missed!
That guy could really do some crazy things! But his enthusiasm was contagious.
What I can't forget about Steve Irwin is how much he loved his dog Sui. She was his absolute "best gal" next to his wife. I think he would have sold his soul to make her better when she developed cancer. He let people know it was o.k. to love a pet that much and to grieve when we loose them.
