No, this is not a *designer* puppy, although according to the new fad, she could probably sell these suckers for $500 each.
This was an accidental breeding between her Pug and Rottweiler. *sigh*
Anyway, the puppies are just 7 wks old and ready to go and apparently are living in filth. It's my friend's coworker's dog who had the puppies and she's ready to bring them to the shelter - no shots/worming etc. Nice.
My friend is going this weekend to get her puppy and I'm tagging along to *save* another one.
AM I INSANE?!?? I already have my 2 dogs, Kramer, the English Bulldog and my rescue Beagle, Bagel. Also my 2 cats, which are rescued sisters. I was going to take just one, but I took the other one b/c she was going to end up at the shelter....
But I can't stand the thought of these puppies living in filth and then ending up in a shelter, where they will be adopted immediately and then probably returned when they lose their *cuteness*
stdogz are you on drugs??? I dont know you or your friend you must be cofused _______________________________________________
Confused about what? That a dumb owner let their two unaltered dogs get together? Hopefully the pug was the father, had to be, or mom & puppies wouldn't have made it. stdogz doesn't sound confused to me, but I am about that post.

Huskyhauler - if you read the whole story she is not a breeder just someone who is clueless on dogs in general, hence the fact that this breeding took place. And also the puppies don't have shots/wormings or anything....
In case you didn't notice, cjabro is the one advertising "Bugg" puppies..I guess that explains why he/she was talking about drugs. They must have been thinking stdogz and their friend were on drugs for not selling the poor pups for $1000 each!
ha ha ha. Thanks Laredos_mom! I was wondering why she would say that. She doesn't know me from a hole in the wall.
The ignorance of some people scares me.....
These are MUTTS, plain and simple. There is no purpose to breed these two dogs together other than to make money.....thankfully this woman was more clueless and is giving her puppies away. Unfortunately it's the puppies that suffer....
Except the 2 that my friend and I are taking... :)
This is no doubt an irresponsible dog owner.. WHile youre there to get your puppy educate the idiot as to why she should have her dogs fixed, its obvious she hasnt figured it out yet. Im banging my head..:(
I also ponder what the mix will look like as adults..
I am still on the fence about taking one home. I have to realize that I do work full time and have a *full house* as it is....but you know the second I see one I'm going to want to take it home. ;-)
I will talk to hubby tonight. It has to be a joint decision, even though he did bring home an iguana a few months ago that I vetoed.....then again an iguana is a heck of a lot easier to take care of than a puppy!
I love iguanas I was going to get one and was calling around pet shops trying to find a good one were I could talk to someone if I had any problems. I finaly found a great place and he was totaly into me getting one then my little girl started laughing and he said No you cant have one. I was like why and he started telling me these bad storys about them. Like one of his friends had one and it was on a shelf the lady walked next to it and it snaped his tail at her face taking a large chunck with it.
He said he warns everyone about them befor he will sell one to them and trys to teach them to handle them the right way and will sell to any adult but if he finds out they have kids he wont sell to them because he cant knowingly put a child in danger.
