Okay here's where we stand...

Only noticable sings are....I think my JRT belly is a little fuller. She is so tiny and usually theres nothing to her there expect after she eats. Speaking of eating, she's seemed exceptionaly hungy. She was hanging out by her bowl last night before bed, wanting a second dinner, which is not her norm.

My vet said that the tests she would do aren't definitive until 40 days into the pregnancy, at that point it will be difficult to do anything about. I did manage to convince my vet to squeeze my JRT in for a spaying next week. I really don't want to put my little JRT through the operation, but its probably less risky than letting this play out. Am I over reacting? Im not positive they bred.

Im actually supposed to be out of the country in 2 weeks for a few weeks. SO it semms obvious to me I should do this and do it now.

Ironically my APBT that we have been raising is scheduled to be altered in November.

Well at least there will be no future accidents, and temperments should improve(not that thats an issue)

Oh and we did intend to breed her eventually, but obviously will not now.

Well if you do want to breed her later you can ge her an abortion instead of having her fixed. I know there is a pill or something they give. My friends mother in law kept going in for it with her beagle, The vet stoped giving it to her because it was a every heat thing.

You really are doing the best thing possible by getting her spayed, for her, for the puppies, and for tha animals sitting in the pound waiting their day with the needle.

You made a good choice..

she maybe having puppies it is rare but not inpossible for the two dogs to have puppies together. You need to take her to the vet and is if the puppies are going to be to big for her to deliver. If you are willing to take care of the puppies then I think that it should be a c section so that they can help her deliver them but don't let her have them on her own if there is a problem when delivering the vet can help but if she has them on her own you are putting her life in danger. but before she has the puppies (if you let her) you should put an ad in the paper to she if anyone is wanting one so the puppies will not end up in a shelter.
