My son and his girlfriend had two guinea pigs which they just loved so much. Suddenly one day, they just died. No warning. They had not been ill, no sign of anything just dropped dead. My son and his girlfriend are just devastated. Does anyone have any idea what could have happened?
That happend to my piggy. I cant rember who it was but someone on here said that sometimes piggys eather stop breathing and struggle for a few mins then dieing, or somethng happens with there hearts. I wish i could rember exactly what they told me.
Sorry about there loss piggys are so fun and so easy to get attached to. They have tons of personalty witch you would never expect.
I'm gonna trade this life for fortune and fame I'd even cut my hair and change my name
Well maybe the guinea pigs had a heartache. Like once I had this Dwarf hamster and I was watching her run in her wheel and then come out get something to eat and then drink then she fell down and her left leg kept on twitching. It was to late to take her to the vet and to scared to put her to sleep and the vet costed a WHOLE ton of money for one little hamster. Or maybe they died of old age or maybe they choked on something.
My guinea just died yesterday. I only had her for a month and just a day earlier I heard her sneeze and cough a few times and the next morning she was died. I am assuming she had that respiratory problem. Does any one know how i should prepare for my next guinea pig. I threw out all her toys and soak & scrubbed her cage with bleach and all the things in it. I just want to be sure the next one wont have the same problem. Should i replace any of her things (waterbottle, food dish, etc???)
We had a client to went through all kinds of problems with thier kinds piggy's. One ended up with cancer, and the other just drop dead. I think it is over breeding personally. They are disposable pets, and farms just breed and breed them. Most of your small rodent animals have alot of health issues. I know chin's now can have really bad teeth problems. It is usaully the other colors not the reg. grey, but their back teeth grow into their gums, and surgery doesn't really help. When you get them you have to go in knowing this, and love them for the time we have them.
