Dusty, actually within the Lab world the yellow female is the over all 1st request. That seems to be what all of us in the show/pet world find. After that, it's all up in the air. For me personally I find yellows are more requested in warmer months and black/chocy fall - winter (pets). Show, quality of course before color. Chocolate that I breed is a deep hershey chocolate though chocolate is like yellow, different shade variations from light - dark however still considered "yellow" or "chocy"
no such thing in my breed. There are 3 colors, yellow, black and chocolate. The color DNA they can carry is another thing, but only 3 colors of fur. THERE IS NO SILVER AND NO WHITE. White is a shade variation of yellow. Silver.. don't even get me started. LOL
You can have what is called a "splashed" puppy whereby for whatever reason a chocolate has "goldish" markings somewhere, blacks can be splashed, but that is still not what you are talking about and not common.
Savannah, I think admin at TP is pretending I don't exist too! I finally got a hold of them on the phone this morning, and they said there is no record of either me, or my address, both physical and e-mail in their system! If it was'nt so frustrating it would be funny.
