I would say that my biggest pet peeve would be someone driving at or below the speed limit in the fast lane. I am a speed demon, and usually leave for everywhere five minutes late and plan to make it up on the road - I know, bad idea.
Airheads. Inconsiderate actions. People who lack direction, originality and personality afraid to be themselves so they emulate whatever they come across. Repeating myself. Crappy parenting. Stickers on objects (like price tags or instructional ones). People asking for advice when they don't really want it.
Well, I have many of pet peeves. Some are: When people don't wash their hands after they use the facilities :), when people leave my bedroom door open (don't know why, just annoys me to death), when I come into my room and the light is on and the fan is off (I hate it when it gets hot,I leave my fan on 24/7) and.. hmm, can think of others right now. I usually don't remember them until they happen, lol.
A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself. - Josh Billings
How about the people who run their mouths about wanting to fight, but never get to it? Bickering back and forth about what beat downs they are going to give each other while anticipating on-lookers grow weary and inevitably turn on them lol
I think i just posted this recently but i'll saying it again. My #1 pet peeve is the non-word IRREGARDLESS. I just want to scream at people who say/use it. It really gets under my skin, especially if I'm at work and I hear someone at like a Vice President level saying it. It's NOT a word......
It's like "what's wrong with you??? just because you make a word longer by adding a prefix, which by the way negates the suffix, it doesn't make you sound smarter!"
(3) People who refer to the left lane as "the fast lane"
Well, I call it the passing lane...is that ok? lol I have too many road rage issues to mention....but yes! the pasing lane is for passing !! Which generally requires you to drive faster than those in the right lane....so get moving or get over.
People who fly around you in the left lane, just to cut you off to get off the exit...whats the point your making?
Dont pass me then go slower than I was in the first place once your in front of me!
Badly misbehaved children. Children with no manners when it comes to their elders. Lights on in rooms no one is using. My son...takes the last of something in a box say a snack cake for example...then puts the empty box back in the cupboard.
I could go on and on and on....lol
People are like slinky's, not really good for much. But its still fun to push them down the stairs.
People that brush their teeth and leave the cap off of the paste and do not rince out the sink!AGH! I hate it!
Wrong price tags on items at stores. Dirty bathrooms, kitchens etc. Fast food places messing up my order! "Just get it right people!" Slow people period. Backwards American Flags! Some thing half way done. People that gossip, people that are annoying, PEOPLE.
The difference between first and fith in a race is the amount of pampering you give your horse.
Well, I call it the passing lane...is that ok? lol
That's fine by me. When people say "fast lane" it tells me they think they have some kind of "personal HOV lane" arrangement with the DOT, and other people keep messing it up.
BTW -- I am NOT the person driving below the speed limit in the left lane. My daily commute includes a section of highway with signs posted that say "Stay Right Except to Pass." I do just that -- unless I need to get to the left turn lane.

Illini, 'unthaw' is a pet peeve word of mine! If you think about it, you're taking the frozen product out to THAW, right? Other pet peeves - using the words 'continue on'.., cruelty, and complacency, selfishness, switching the channel on the t.v when I'm watching something, and a lot of other things that I can't think of.
My biggest pet peeve is when people don't spell or use proper grammar in letters, emails, conversations, etc. I'm not saying I'm perfect in either but I make an effort to know the difference between 'there' and 'their' and 'through' and 'threw'.
My other pet peeve is when people don't have an open mind and judge others without trying to see the other side of things. I try not to judge other people and when I get caught, I'm glad I do because then it opens my mind up. I get mad at myself for jumping to conclusions but I totally believe that to each his own and that you should be an individual and not worry about what others think.
This is my last one but another pet peeve is when people don't wash their hands or just let a few drops of water fall on their fingers after they've used a washroom. I had a friend who asked me once after I went pee, "what did you do in there to require that much washing?" I replied, "I touched things that that are touched by people like you who just let the water sprinkle for a millisecond." Don't wash your hands at home but please wash your hands in a public washroom and at others' homes!!
In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi human. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog. ~Edward Hoagland
My biggest at the moment is parking. I live in an apartment for the time being and pay quite a lot of money for it. You would think I would be able to park in front of where I live right. Wrong! I have to give my parking up to these other yahoo's friends that wanna come over and hang out till 2 or 3 in the morning.
