Of course my camera is down at the time being, so I am feeling lost. My parents are going to show us how to use their digicamcorder & camera but it's not the same lol.
After the first of March, I am buying a new camera first thing!
We've been several times and have found that everyone, of all ages, enjoys it! As long as you don't mind sitting next to strangers (long benches, not tables) and don't mind eating with your fingers, you should have a great time.

Ooh, I've never been but it looks like so much fun! I do go to the renaissance festival every year. I love the horse show they have there, and I see this place has a horse show as well.
You know what I always wish I would have done when I go to the renaissance festival? Dressed up in the clothes of the period! It has to be fun to wear one of the dresses with the corsets that are worn as outerwear and squish your chest up to your chin! http://www.renstore.com/mmRENSTORE/Images/chi1028-purple.jpg

I've been a couple times. Are you talking about the one in CA in Buena Park/Anaheim? MT was fun, but just down the street they used to have a cowboy show that was the same idea, only with cowboys and indians. I liked that one way better. They've changed that, now its a pirate show. I really want to go to the pirate show now.
Even if you are on the right track, you will still get run over if you just sit there. (Will Rogers)
I've been there once...a very, very long time ago. From what IO rememeber though, it was a blast!! Loved every minute of it!! I went to one in Canada. Actually, when I was in Orlando a couple weeks ago, we passed one and I wish we were able to go.

We are going to the castle in Baltimore, near the Anne Arundel mall. Probably going to check out that mall while we are in the area because it is supposed to be enormous
It sounds like a great time, has anyone paid over the phone for their reservations and then had to pick them up at the box office the day of? I was told the doors open 90 minutes before the show is scheduled to start and that there are a few preshows to watch and exhibits etc.
The boys are freaking out lol I teased them for a while last night and told them we had to hurry and go find some tights and long period shirts/hats/shoes and because it is required dress code and since there are no refunds, they must do it I'll post pictures for whoever is interested
We were at one about 8 years ago while traveling in CA. It was a blast!! We called in for two tickets, gave them the charge card number, (long before they said it wasn't safe) picked our tickets up just before the show, and thoroughly enjoyed ever single moment!!!!!
We saw people there in costume etc. Sitting with strangers is a blast, boy do you meet some really neat people and a few you are glad don't live near you
While we were there we purchased chances on a Christmas dinner held every year, can't remember where and it is same kind of dinner about 8 or 10 courses and served by people in period dress celebrating Ansel Adams, and his works.
Would you believe after getting home to Michigan we were notified we were one of the winners. We promptly sent the tickets to our son in CA and he and his new wife went and had a ball!!!
I think all of you are in for a real good time Pope and would love to hear what you thought of it. Hopefully there will be one some day near us that we can attend again!
It was awesome, we are exhausted all of the nephews enjoyed themselves, despite the fact our odds of a decent time looked a little shaky at times. Our knight section was the Yellow and Gold Knight. He bit the dust towards the end lol We ended up keeping the baby over night too, he passed right out when he got home... I will post those pictures a little later.
Medieval Times was in the actual mall. We were walking around and ran into it Scored a huge Medieval Times glass and a couple shirts at Pac Sun 2 for $24.99 out of the deal, so that was pretty sweet.
Thanks Heather, we did have a good time when they finally stopped asking me what time it was, and what time were they opening the doors to the arena... they grow up too fast! Between the standard "Are we there yet"s and the name calling it got so bad at one point, I drew a line with my finger on my glass and asked them to "please chill out on the questions and addressing me until I am right about here".
Pyr, who has the time to sip? lol I managed to record almost the whole show with a steady hand from the first row with greased up fingers from food I "ate" with my hands in the dark after another beer in a plastic hologram cup when we were seated (I am not denying hooting "wooooooooooooooo" throughout the tape though)
