Christmas and birthday gifts both, of course! And also gifts for their trainer's dogs Wookie and Karma, and their 'cousin' Sadie Mae and 'uncle' Sydney. Obviously, we have no small children in my family, just dogs Albie and Sydbey both really get into unwrapping their own gifts. Very cute. Like small children, they are disappointed to unwrap a gift to find clothes instead of toys or munchies! And each of the six cats has their own tiny stocking as well, they get to dig a little rabbit-fur mouse out of the stocking full of catnip, which is a most amusing way to spend Christmas morning.
I'm a flake, if they get something for their birthdays, it's usually a week or two late. I only know one of their actual birthdates though. They usually get some kind of gift around Christmas time. A bag of treats, new collars, etc.
Absolutely!!! We buy for Max and the 3 cats...Miley, Sparkles, Elmo....Even though the cats think it is Christmas for them as soon as the Christmas tree goes up. This is Max's first Christmas with us. We lost both of our other dogs last September, but we always bought them treats as well. It is just as exciting to see the animals as excited as my kids...I love the holidays!!

I always do!! It always gets wraped too, although we're not able to put them under the tree because Kyra likes to snoop and get it early. So, we wait to put it under after Santa has arrived for her so she only gets her presents the morning of Christmas.
