nopers, not me. Hunter sleeps in his crate, the cat sleeps in the living room. It's just kind of a pet peeve of mine. Not only that, but I hog the bed, and that's hard to do with a 6 foot 3 tall hubby and animals in the bed with me ;)
In my house almost eveyone has a dog in our bed, My bichon sleeps under the covers right next to me. My husbands portugese waterdog mix sleeps with him. My youngest daugters poodle sleeps with her, my middle daughters poodle sleeps with her, my oldest daughter doesn't have a dog (yet, she wants a poodle)so she is all alone. When I first got my maltese's I wanted them to sleep with me, but my bichon (top dog) got mad at them. So they sleep on the floor right next to my bed.
guilty !! thunder sleeps in his crate but scout sleeps with us. sometimes the cats will also. i am a bed hog and i am a mover so many times they are off the bed by morning. then i find scout sleeping with my son.
Huntersmom........we had a cat that did that. I mean to the point that you could not breathe. Not on your head, right across your face. That is a horrible feeling, waking up in the middle of the night with a mouth full of cat. I name him CK........Crazy Kat.
Our dog sleeps in the same room. Sometimes he sleeps on the bed, sometimes he doesn't. He does know he's there by our good graces, and if we tell him to move, or get off, he does immediately. I don't mind cats sleeping on the bed but if they get near my face or head they get dumped off. I dont mind when they sleep on top of the covers, but I don't want them under the covers, and if they think bedtime is play time they get kicked out of the room alll together.
My husband and I sleep with ours. Tucker sleeps in his crate, Toby sleeps in his own bed (thank goodness, a 120 lb. dog in the bed would be hard), but the other 4 sleep with us. I even have stairs for them to get up in the bed so that they don't have to jump. I bought them for my 11 yr. old pom because of her arthritis, she couldn't get in the bed when she wanted, she would have to wait on my husband or I to put her there, but all of the dogs seem to like them and use them.
