Well she's definitely not a german shepherd like it says at the top. I suspect some kind of jack russel mix from the head and the legs.. they look shorter than average in the pictures, and her body seems kind of long. CAn you get a picture of her standing up from the sides?
you have a very cute dog to begin with.i believe it is not a german shepherd but she looks to have a mixture of an australian shepherd and possibly a retriever in her. a pure lab she is not at 3 mos a labs head is usually more proportion to their body. your dog's head looks a bit smaller to her body. hope this helps . what did the shelter say it was.
I think she looks like she could be Anatolian Shepherd mix (with possibly lab or golden retriever). I believe the anatolian would give you the "moles" and short course hair on her back.....but wouldn't explain the tail. I too don't think it is gernan shepard.
Anyways, what a sweet looking baby! She is georgous.
Honestly she is to young to tell. She is lab mix, yes.
All dogs have the cheek moles. On GSD, as on many blk/tan and/or sable breeds the moles are simply colored darker, which makes them more pronounced.
When you discuss coat, first remember that your puppy is only gaining her adult coat. You will not know what it will be for quite a while.
German shpeherd have medium short hair. It can be quite short and tight, or it can be longer and a bit plus. There is even a long haired version, but it makes me shorter.
Antolian Shepherd would honestly be one of the last guesses ever to pop out.
The puppy is pretty sleek and refined atm, but that may just be a growing phase. Young pups are hard to judge as that they change so much trough the time that they grow.
I'd let her fill out a bit and go from there quite honestly. She could quite well be just a mutt on all sides and not be a direct mix of purebreeds. Also, sadly, when people do not breed to the standard, they wind up with rather peicemeal 'purebreeds' and a cross can do such a thing.
But all of our dogs have moles, sometimes its just not very apparent. A heavy whisper comes out of that mole actually, chuckle.
by the way firstly your puppy looks adorable, i think she definately has lab in her,but she also lokks to have staffordshire bull terrier in her,as i used to have a staffy and she looked very similar when she was a puppy
Well, everyone elses guess is as good as mine. She's awefully cute though! I can see a little lab in her, maybe rhodesian ridgeback, but she seems to small for that. I don't know! But have fun with her!
Oh she's gorgeous!! What a love!! My mom had a Lab x rhodesian many moons ago..she (the 4-legged one) has now passed away from old age. but she looked alot like yours, same colouring and expression and all and was such a sweetie of a love.
I'm sure no matter what, yours will bring you alot of pleasures for years to come. Enjoy your precious times together.
