I am assuming Fin that you are referring to Allie and Hector yes they were underage when they first joined but they both were so much more mature than this poster and they were in fact borderline of age...If that makes any sense. They both were 12 almost 13.
GinaH, I don't know specifically who was underage, just that there were underage members.
Whether someone is more mature or not shouldn't change the fact that a rule is a rule. Right?
Evidently I must have missed quite a few posts, because there seems to be much more drama to this then just being underage. Especially since references were made that Schnoodles and PJ were one and the same.
Well, you still seem to be posting, but my real question is this . If you're only 11, what are you doing home? Shouldnt you be in school now, or has schoool let out for you? I thought schools got out in June. They do where I live nd also in a few other states whare I have friends with children who attend school.
Hey any second after the 13th bithday is over 13. For future referrance what we don't know won't hurt anyone. Just act responsible, be nice, no fowl language or bashing. In case you sign up someplace else. You will know ahead of time.
I had to give my e-mail address when I signed up on TP, but that is beside the point. Over 13 means 14 to me, 13 and over means the day you turn 13 to me. I have never seen a post asking this question. Wouldn't you think a person would read the rules first? If I wanted to be on a forum I would not say anything about age. Now, she has asked so she is breaking the rules. A rule IS a rule. Like Admin said. about the don't ask don't tell rule. No one asked so why say anything. It looks as though the post was pointless, because the poster is still posting.
ADMIN states: "Sorry rules are rules. If your under 13 you are not post to be here with parental supervision. It's a legal thing."
Schnoodles, you have parental supervision, right? I know I supervise my kid (who's over 13, barely) whenever's he's on the internet. From what ADMIN says, you can be under 13 as long as you have parental supervision.
As you pointed out, CM, a rule IS a rule, so whenever anybody's age is pointed out or brought up as being below the minimum, they should be parentally supervised or banned, regardless of whether they posted a thread about it or drew attention to it. As Benjamin Franklin said, "Honesty is the best policy."
Let's be fair now.
Schnoodles, my apologies that you're being blasted for being honest. I, for one, am proud of you! I'm saddened that this forum's administration appears to advocating less than that.
If she can't stay then the other underage people have to go too. That's not right to pick her out of the group and tell her to leave. I don't care if they are underage, that doesn't bother me but you either let them all in, or they all go.
