I breed Shih-Tzus and Pekingese and a couple of others that I learned not to mention on this site. I used to breed toy poodles but retired my female and have never got another. I only have about 3 or 4 litters a year. I have other poodles but they are all fixed except 1 male
I don't breed dogs. All my dogs are spayed/neutered. Although, my dog Freckles was pregnant when I got her, and had a litter of pups. She is fixed now. I have a Brittany/Border Collie Mix, Rat Terrier, German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever Mix, and a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog Mix.
I'm not a breeder yet and won't be for several years but when I do breed it will be Parson [Jack] Russell Terriers. I'll show them in conformation and probably do agility too.
Right now I'm just learning as much as I can. I've owned the breed before and LOVE them. I have two breeding books, learn from here, and most recently joined a PRT forum to learn more specific stuff about them.
I already researched different breeders and found one I liked so I filled out her questionnaire and am on her waiting list.
well you learn something new everyday. When I read that newfie girl said she was breeding gray newfs I thought but grey isn't allowed what the??? In the AKC they are allowed very interesting here in CanadaKC they are only allowed in black and landseer. Sorry just had to share my nugget of info for the day, LOL.
I bred Shiba-Inu, but have not had a litter for 8 years. I want to get a bouvier to show next, someday.
My fiance and I raise boxers. My babies are Roscoe (fawn with black mask), Jewel (reverse brindle with black mask), Gracie (flashy fawn), Chase (flashy brindle), Sassy (fawn with black mask), Celeste (flashy brindle), and Bruno (flashy brindle).
