you should be emailing the ACA and AKC to ask that question. the AKC will not recognize any dogs from the BS registries like ACA, APRI, NKC, etc. people who register their dogs with those sham registeries are people who want to breed poor quality dogs, dogs that were sold as non breeding quality, limited registration, by AKC breeders. most breeders involved with those registries are backyard breeders, commercial breeders, and puppymillers. not breeders you should be purchasing a puppy from, and definitely not breeders you should be purchasing breeding dogs from.
i believe that the only registries AKC will recognize dogs from, so you can register litters with htem, is the UKC ( united kennel club NOT the universal kennel club ) and the CKC ( the canadian kennel club NOT the continental kennel club )
but you should really email the AKC and ask them about being able to register a litter that only has 1 parent that is AKC registered, and if the AKC registered dog has limited registration papers, you are SOL as that dog was never meant to add to the gene pool and any offspring it produces is ineligible for registration with them.
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
Why would you want to? The ACA is the puppymillers registry of choice in PA. They are no better than APRI, ConKC, etc. They are sham registries that take your money, provide "papers" for your dog, and that's about it. If your dog is registered with ACA, it sure didn't come from a reputable breeder.
Scout 1 i own a aca boxer that i purchased from a breeder with a very nice well taken care of facility the dog is very healthy and one of the smartest dogs ive owned a piece of paper means nothing and people like you are much more harmful to animals than any backyard breeders. With your snobbish attitude toward what a piece of paper says, many animals that would make great pets and if the person chose to breed them beautiful puppies , but they are being looked down at for such a very discriminitive reason I dont understand people we judge things on such a petty basis.
Oh dear kevinsboxer.....you have some learning to do & not be so closed minded. You stated you got your "ACA" registered Boxer from a "Facility breeder". Listen & learn......ACA IS a puppymill, BYB dog registry as has been stated already. True quality breeders don't have "Facilities" either. AKC will NOT approve AKC registration unless both dogs are AKC registered. Period!
Can't stand the heat?.....Don't tickle the Dragon!
Kevin, we are not really a bunch of purebred snobs. Even though most of us breeders have stated this information time and time again, here goes yet again. What we do oppose is those who breed with out regards to health screens, dogs with less than stella registrations, and those produced by Backyard breeders(BYB) and Puppymills. Those are people who breed for profit. We believe that yes those dogs can make fine pets. What we don't understand is the practice of breeding just for the purpose of producing more dogs which are pet quality just for the sake of producing more pet dogs. We try to incorporate good breeding practices, by doing health screenings of all our breeding stock. By showing our dogs to prove they meet a standard of excellance and adhearing to a standard set forth by our parent club for our particular breed, and accepted standard by the American Kennel Club, the largest recognized all breed registry in the United States. We follow a breeders code of ethics regarding each and every mating we do. We have strict guidelines regarding our pups placement, health guarantees and take back policies. I know you love your boxer as much as we do, as it should be. But when people continue to purchase dogs from breeders with poor breeding practices, they just create a demand for those breeders to up the production. Kevin, did you know I could make up my own registration and call it anything I want. Charge you to register your dog, and it would be totally legal. Now you just bought yourself a WRAYB registered dog. I can print you up a fancy certificate on my own computer. And yes that piece of paper is pretty much worthless. The AKC is a record keeping agency for purebred dogs. Those other registries you see out there are just scams. With exception to the United Kennel Club and the Canadian Kennel club and other foreign registries recognized by the American Kennel Club. And no UKC dogs can not be registered AKC, but AKC dogs can be registered with UKC(so still not my favorite registry either)
He's your friend, your partner, your defender your dog.You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to worthy of such devotion
You must not get it..... BYB's breed for $$$$$ they don't care how the puppies will turn out. I can't be a purbred snop I own 2 mutts. I love dogs but there is no reson to breed poor qulity dogs. For you to say a BYB care more about there animals then most people on here is CRAZY. We are here to try and help animals.

A simple story from my point of view...when I was pre-teen I had gotten a puppy not knowing everything that I know now and currently learning...because all the requirements etc...for registration has changed and still continue to change anyway...I love this pup..had no idea that the pup that I had just purchased was dying...looked so dame healthy on the outside but horrible on the inside...to sum it up I spent a total of 15,000 to save this puppy life...I love him so much...some may say 15,000 is alot but realistically it is not because this included varies vet visit, emergency visit, medication etc...all you breeders out there know what I am talking about and the regular people to...so I had an autopsy done on my pup because me and the vet was very curious to know why this pup died at a young age less than 1 year...ok...got the results...I went back to the owner and did some research and I found out that the pup was not raised in a good environment...so that sparked me to help others...don't get me wrong...I don't usually tell people but when I was about 17 - 25...I was always around pups...my mom and I were breeders and we did what we were suppose to do as far as getting all testing for pups..which meant from head toe it hurts to know that when you do sell a pup that they are used for fighting or have to go to the shelter and pick up your baby that really hurts...but anyway..what alot of us are saying is that...if you are not going to be a RESPONSIBLE BREEDER OR DOG OWNER..THAN PLEASE DO NOT BREED. We have enough animals that are not being taken care of at this current moment...I get very upset when I see all these designer pup being used just for the hell of it...oh let me make 600.00 off of this pet...it hurts especially if you have not had a pup die on you and the so called Money Pincher would have nothing to do with you compare to a BREEDER we work and talk things out and we come to a solution...I say all in all I have been on both sides BREEDING and the Regular side...I have stop Breeding for me I felt that my babies were not happy and if they are not happy I am not happy..but everyone has their own opinions...what fact that some of us miss is that once again..and I am stressing this is all CAPS...NOT YELLING...
A BREEDER NORMALLY BREEDS THEIR ANIMALS FOR SHOW. HOWEVER WE ALSO BREED AS PETS AS WELL AS TO KEEP THE GENETIC POOL HEALTHY AND WHEN WE BREED WE WILL GO ALL OUT AS FAR AS MONEY WISE AND NOT THINK OR REGRET WHAT WE HAVE DONE AS FAR AS ENSURING THAT THE PUPS WE ARE SELLING ARE HEALTHY FROM THE EYES-EARS-HEART-HIPS-AND ANY OTHER GENETICS THAT MAY ARISE WITH THE PARTICULAR BREED THAT IS BEING BREEDED..
A BYB ONLY WANTS MONEY AND WILL BREED WITH ANY TYPE OF DOG WHICH WILL RESULT IN A MUTT OR MONGRUL..AND HAVE NOT BEEN HEALTH TESTED...SO YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE GETTING AS A RESPONSIBLE OWNER IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILTY TO GET THE DOG TESTED AND SOMETIMES IT MAY BE A LITTLE TO LATE...NOT SAYING THAT MONGRULS ARE BAD BUT THEY ARE NOT MY CHOICE...BUT I LOVE THEM ALL.. I ALSO WORKED IN A SHELTER AS WELL FOR A PERIOD OF TIME IN MY LIFE.
SIMPLY PUT BYB ONLY WANTS MONEY AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE ANIMAL..THERE ONLY CONCERN IS ABOUT MAKING MONEY AND THOSE WHO ARE NOT EDUCATED FALL VICTIM TO PURCHASING PUPPIES NOT KNOWING THE FULL STORY...AND THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY...
I WOULD NEVER EVER REFER NO ONE TO A BYB WHO DOES NOT DO A HEALTH CHECK OR ISSUE HEALTH CERTIFICATION.

I pledge to be a responsible dog owner...I Pledge to take care of my baby for the rest of her life...
actually, the point is they should never have been bred to begin with. THAT IS THE POINT. People get so defensive about their babies. They think we professionals are telling them how horrible their pets are. That's not hardly the case. We professionals still love ALL pets.
The point is THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN BRED TO BEGIN WITH. As I have said to numerous others over the course of time, you have to be able to separate your own personal emotions towards your pets, and consider ONLY the breeding itself. When you can do that, then you learn. It's no different then surving on a jury, you have to have the ability to remove your own personal emotions/thoughts and open the mind based on FACTS and facts alone.
