I would call this contradicting, but hey, that's just me. I tend to have more "fear" towards a smaller breed than a large one. My neighbors own a chi that just loves to chase you and nip/bite at your ankles when you walk by. My Rottweiler as well as my Pit Bulls all wag their tails/nubs and whine when someone walks by. Hmmm....

I have never been attacked nor bitten by Pits. I agree most little dogs are snappy, but not ALL dogs.

It depends on what kind of an enviorment Pits are brought up as. If they abuse them to be mean, of course they are going to be, just like us. If you are kind to them, they will be kind to us.
