hi im a stay at home mum, i have 7 kids 2 of which are still at home girl 17 and boy 14, im from portlaoise in ro ireland, i have 4 dogs, a jack russell called "jack" he is the typical jack russell in markings and queen anne legs, he was 2 xmas day,he is a playfull little fella but boss of the other dogs. a rottweiller cross pomerainian female called millie, she has the head and body of a rottweiler but on short legs and completely covered with the long pomeranian light tan fur, she's kind of lazy, and she was one the 3rd of september,. also another jack russell called max, he has slightly darker markings and longer straighter legs, he is full of fun and puppy like, bounces everywhere lol, he will be one in june. and finally our new puppy bailey, she is 9 weeks old at the moment, she is an american pitbull cross rotweiller she is brindle and looks every inch an american pitbull and seems to have no rotweiller colours, characteristics, temperments to look at her you wouldnt know she was a cross at all. she chews EVERYTHING she sees, she is fairly good at the toilet training and crys by the door to be let out for a wee, she hasnt quite got the wait till i put my shoes on and take you out, its a bit hit and miss but shes coming along great at it, only one problem, with me and the kids who stroke her and feed her she is great, but my husband lets her up on the chair and she sleeps , she loves playing with him, but she sort of snaps at his hand a lot but not to us, just with him, does anyone know why she does this and also how to stop this ? because she is going to get very big and eventually it will hurt. she is great in every other way, like walking on a lead, walking off a lead, and in general play. max seems to have taken a dislike to her the other to will play with her and then wander off and sleep at our feet, she will want to play with max but max will growl at baily and she will slink off back to her bed, i think its because max is young and he was the baby before bailey came along and im hoping max will grow out of it as he grows up.
I was on this site many moons ago when I was looking for a dog. I'm not even sure if this is my original screen name or a new one that I created after they changed the format of the site. I still see some of the same mods that were on here years back when I would come in here everyday. So here's my intro:
I'm 29 yr old female who resides in California. I'm currently a nursing student and have two furbabies both of which are dogs. My heart and soul, Taboo a 19 month old chihuahua/yorkie mix that I adopted from the Humane/Aspca shelter last summer who's always my emotional support animal. And my second furball that's really Taboo's dog Halo, a 11 week old pomchi (designer mutt) that I adopted off of craigslist after searching for a companion for Taboo and not having any of the dogs from the rescues and animal shelters fit.
Upon your death your dog will mourn you until the day you die; a cat will play with your toe tag as they wheel you out ;)
Well I was able to look by at my old history and yes this is my original screen name from just over five years ago. Wow, in less than I year I posted a lot and I didn't even have a dog yet. Who knew that would even be possible? If any of my old buds are around, feel free to drop me a message and say hello!

Hello All. I have been on this site for around 6 months now. I recently joined after we purchased our wonderful american bulldog Daisy. I cannot tell you how much my Fiance and I have fallen in love with her. She has to be this biggest baby and lap dog i have ever met. She is now a little over a year old and weights in at 81 lbs and still has a while to grow! Our vet said she is extremly healthy and could reach up to 100lbs. We were only expecting 80 at most for full grown.
We currently live in Kansas City area and will be moving soon to San Antonio Texas. I am excited to see how our pup enjoys the beach considering she loves the lake and tries to "swim" in our bathtub during the few baths she has received.
We also adore our adopted kitty Dexter who torments Daisy as much as Daisy torments Dexter. At the end of the day they always end up snuggling up with one another.
This site has helped with great incite. Most of the dogs I've had growing up have always started out as adults and never at young pups. We cannot wait to adopt a friend for daisy once we move to Texas and have a fairly good sized yard.
Now that I posted my question, thought I should be polite and introduce myself ;).
I live in the Northeast, have two human children (7 and 9), and a husband.
We have 3 dogs: a 12yo f choc lab (who is genetically beaten, and has a plethora of health issuesd. She's nervous and protective as well), a 12yo m choc lab/husky cross (best dog on the planet ;) ), and our new pup is a f choc lab/pit and the reason I'm here. She's 6mo and throwing my dog knowledge for a loop. We also have 4 cats of the usual variety, 4 goats, and a bunch of chickens.
My "name on terrificpets.com" is Rockincotons. I have a coton de tulear named Sammy. Cotons are very rare breeds by the way. :) Sammy will be two on August 10th! They grow up so fast. lol! I'm 8, so I can't give out too much information about myself.
***Edited By: Rockincotons on 7/23/2011 11:17:36 AM*** Reason: because I forgot to put how hold my dog will be.
I love my dog! He's on security guard! And also a natural born cutie!
My parents have been raising Champion English Mastiffs for almost 20 years and have recently turned some of the responsibility over to me. I also raise Westies. I have a male and a female Mastiff and a male and two female westies. They are(in prospective order)Buck, Abby, Spencer,Sophie,And Shasta. We also have a spayed Cocker Spaniel as a pet. All our dogs are dearly loved and cosidered family pets.
Hi! I'm Jenna. I love to read, knit, draw, and play basketball. I have 1 dog named Sammy. He is a Coton De Tulear. Sammy loves cheese and regular dog treats, his favorite toy is his bunny, and he knows how to, come, stay, sit, lay down, no touch, shake hands, and fetch. Sammy is so goofy and sweet. He's great for cheering anybody up, if your a fan of dogs.(<I know I am a fan of dogs!) If your not sure what a Coton De Tulear looks like, they kind of look like a Maltese, just a little bigger. He also has short hair.
Hi i,m martin 30 from uk My dog theo is a staffordshire bullterrier cross bull mastiff mix he is 15 months old and allready weighs 31kg. Hes good most of the time but has his moments. To see a picture of him visit www.thedogfolder.com home page .
I've owned dogs all my life, all rescues and mostly all mutts except for a Miniature Pincher who sadly is no longer with me and, my current Toy fox terrier Papi. I also have Sassy, my boston/Jack Russel terrier mix. I love my dogs but I don't believe in spoiling. I'm a stickler for obedience and a fan of Ceaser Milan's calm assertive packleader mentality. My dog Sassy was adopted from a no-kill shelter and is 4 years old and Papi is my most recent addition. He was taken off the streets suffering from malnutrition, skin allergies and, hookworms. 3 Weeks and $300 later, he's healthy and happy.
